Are you ready? A 6-question honest check.

This is the self-check before you fill out the SIZMO founding-cohort intake — the same screen we use internally. We built it from real test applications run through our own process; these are the exact gaps that decide our answer.

Answer honestly. Most yeses → apply now. Mostly no → don't apply yet — that's not rejection, that's sequencing. We'd rather you succeed slowly than fail fast with us.

1. Do you have a real service — delivered to at least one paying customer?

Not "I want to start." Not "I'm studying it." Something someone paid you for, even once, even cheap.

✅ Yes → keep going
❌ No → not yet. Get one paying customer for anything first.

2. Can you name, in one sentence, who you serve and what they pay you for?

Vague is normal at the start ("I help people get fit"). But if you truly cannot name even a rough answer, we can't build from nothing.

✅ Even a rough version → good enough to apply
❌ Truly no idea → not yet. Serve 2–3 people manually first.

3. Do you have real material?

Facebook posts, photos, voice notes, chat screenshots, a price list, a half-finished page. Messy is fine — messy is the input we build from.

✅ Yes, even messy → strong signal
⚠️ Only a little → still applicable
❌ Nothing at all → not yet

4. Will you use your own GoHighLevel subaccount?

The build runs inside your own GHL account so you own everything. If you cancel, it's still yours.

✅ Yes / willing to get one → required
❌ Want files exported elsewhere → not a fit for this cohort — not negotiable

5. Can you give ~4–6 hours a week for approvals?

You don't build — but you approve. Slow approvals are the #1 killer of build momentum.

✅ Yes, reliably → good
❌ No consistent time → wait until you do

6. Are you the decision-maker, with an honest exchange in mind?

Money (scoped per project), testimonial + referral after delivery, or another fair arrangement agreed in writing.

✅ Yes on both → apply
⚠️ Someone else decides → bring them into the intake conversation
❌ "Testimonial now, pay later" or "pay from future profits" → we'll decline. Pre-agreed testimonials aren't honest proof, and income-contingent pricing gives everyone the wrong incentives.

Scoring yourself

ResultWhat it means
5–6 yesYou're the profile. Apply now — seriously.
3–4 yesClose. Fix the specific gaps first, or apply anyway and be upfront — we may propose a smaller first step instead of a full build.
0–2 yesDon't apply yet. Come back when 1–3 flip to yes.

What happens after you apply

Every application gets human review against this exact checklist. Then one of three things:

  1. Founding-cohort candidate → a Brief Check call (45–60 min), then a written proposal with exact deliverables and exchange terms
  2. Smaller first step → we tell you which single problem to solve first
  3. Honest no → we tell you why, plainly, and what would change our answer. No ghosting, no fake "we'll keep you in mind"

You may be told no. That's stated up front because a cohort that accepts everybody isn't a cohort — it's a queue.

SIZMO is new. There are no case studies yet — you'd be among the first builds, documented as it happens. The exchange is scoped per applicant and discussed openly.
